Marae Engagement
As a Marae based, Rangatahi led initiative, PRC's commitment to supporting other local marae community allows us to work along side whānau with the same desired outcome of a sustainable future for generations to come.
Kick Start to Work Program
Pūniu River Care (PRC) has aligned with The Ministry for Social Development to implement a pre-employment training service which is designed to up-skill 10 participants to the minimum entry level that industry and employers require.
Mangatoatoa Marae Nursery Expansion and Development
With organisational growth, comes the need for expansions. Increasing plant capacity within our nursery every year has been a huge goal from the beginning.

Kakepuku Revegetation Project
Led my Poutoko Mahi Tauira, This project enables Mahi Tauira Kaitiaki to improve habitat diversity for native flora and fauna and empowers Kaitiakitanga of their significant Maunga.
Te Kahui Maunga e puna kakano ma te Manu
Our legacy will be an abundance of bird life within areas of native plantings that connect Te Kahui Maunga (Maungatautiri, Kakepuku o Kahu, Te Kawa and Pirongia o Kahu).
